Savantis is based in Newcastle Upon Tyne and services the IT needs of businesses in the North East and beyond. Our aim is to provide appropriate, cost effective IT solutions for your business. We have over 30 years cummulative experience in IT across the Financial Services, Retail, Manufacturing and Government organisation sectors working with both large and small companies. Our portfolio of services ranges from web application development to project management.
Our specialist areas are : the development of web applications using Ruby on Rails, Open Source technology consultancy, implementing VMware server virtualisation software on a Linux platform, the development of bespoke IT applications and the provision of transaction based system consultancy in the retail banking sector.
Most of our clients are in the financial services sector. However, our research and development with the latest Open Source technologies is broadening the appeal of our service offering, currently into the retail and leisure sectors. Ultimately all businesses can benefit from the lower costs of ownership and speed to market provided by the latest Open Source technologies that we are implementing and researching. We participate fully in Open Source user groups in Tyne and Wear where the latest Open Source technologies are debated, discussed and demonstrated.
We are also resellers for the following products: Olivetti PR2E printers and consumables (specialist printers for the retail banking sector which we can pre-configure and test to clients requirements), Internet services, Internet Security, Secure hosting facilities and VOIP.
