Ajax Autocomplete
Below is a sample email form which may be used regularly to send mails to customers, clients or work colleagues. The email To: and CC: fields are linked to a contacts table in a database on the server with some dummy contact data. Once you enter a character into the text box you are immediately presented with possible contacts you may be looking for in the drop down list based on the character you typed. The list is filtered for every additional character you type. The Autcomplete feature fits situations where functions are performed on a regular basis.
